About Us
Bienvenidos a Jardín de Esperanza, Welcome to Garden of Hope
…a faith-based women's ministry that would love to have you partner with us as lives are changed in the Dominican Republic through the love of Christ! Our mission at Jardin de Esperanza is to walk alongside Dominican women in vulnerable situations and share the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ to help them grow holistically (spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically) through ministry, education, career training, and mental health awareness.
In some of the most vulnerable neighborhoods, many spend their time on the streets in an effort to find some type of support, which at times can include turning to prostitution, drugs, and alcohol abuse, even for teenage girls. We plan to provide assistance through prevention and intervention strategies and establish a safe place for:
-
women in abusive situations
-
single mothers
-
in need of a high school diploma
-
women who are lacking resources, hope, and a vision for the future
-
lacking guidance and support for employment/networking opportunities
With God’s wisdom and guidance, our hope and prayer for Jardín de Esperanza is to see a positive change in their lives. We cherish your prayers and ask you to walk alongside our team as we seek to make an eternal impact.

And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Isaiah 58:10-11
